Jan George, founder of Sacred Heart Productions and Bible Study creator

Dr. Jan George, formerly a secondary-education teacher and then a university professor of literature, left public education in the early 1990s to teach ‘the Book of all books,’ Sacred Scripture. In 2007 she founded Sacred Heart Productions, a non-profit Bible Study program at the service of the Gospel and the Church’s mission to evangelize.

Through extensive research and study, Dr. George wrote several Scripture Studies books and e-books, as well as recordings, lessons, and topics to accompany her writings. You can purchase her books and e-books here and access the recordings, lessons, and topics on the Scripture Studies page.
Knowing the Scriptures

The recordings, lessons, and books produced by Sacred Heart Productions are materials written and taught by Jan George under the name Knowing the Scriptures Bible Study, a program made available to people who want to study Scripture on their own or form a Bible Study group with friends, family, or co-workers. All the materials are produced with the clear objective of faithfully transmitting the sacred deposit of our Catholic Faith as handed down through Sacred Tradition.
Catholic Involvement

Jan is involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and in the Church’s healing and deliverance ministry. She has been a speaker at conferences, given parish missions, presented one-day schools on special topics, taught in the diaconate program, and done missionary work in Brazil and Peru.
Education & Personal Life

Dr. George has degrees in Educational Administration (M.S., North Dakota State University), Literature (M.A., Ph.D, University of North Dakota), and Theology (M.T.L., University of Dallas-Irving). She lives in West Fargo, ND, with her husband Steve. One of their greatest joys is the time they get to spend with their grandchildren.
